Parking and finding the dock
Getting here
From the 101, take the Seaward Avenue or Victoria Avenue exit and follow signs for Ventura Harbor. Spinnaker Drive runs the length of the harbor and ends at Ventura Harbor Village.
Parking
Park in the Ventura Harbor Village lots and walk down to the water. The lots are free, and they are busiest on warm weekend afternoons.
Finding the dock
We are on the water directly in front of Brophy Bros. and One The Alley. Walk down toward the boats — the swans and dragons are visible from the boardwalk.
The neighbourhood
Make an afternoon of it
Ventura Harbor Village has restaurants, a carousel, shops and a boardwalk that runs the length of the water. Most people rent for an hour and then eat lunch twenty steps from where they tied up.
The Channel Islands National Park visitor centre is at the far end of the harbor, and the beach is a short walk past it.

Daytime rentals are walk-up, so there is nothing to arrange in advance. Park in the Village, walk down to the water, and pick a boat.
