Wide, flat-decked boards built for stability, on water with no swell. If you have never stood on a SUP, this is the place to try.
Learning to paddle board in open ocean means fighting swell before you have found your balance. Inside the harbor there is no swell to fight, which is why so many people stand up for the first time here.
Both board types we rent are the stable, forgiving kind — flat tops with a built-in keel so they track straight instead of spinning.

A paddle board built like a kayak — flat, wide, very stable

Before you get on the water
The rules below come straight from the rental contract you will sign at the dock. Nothing here is a surprise once you arrive — but it is worth knowing before you drive over.
- No reservations — boards are first come, first served.
- 225 lb rider limit on all boards.
- All rentals are weather permitting.

Character pedal boats
The boats everyone photographs. Pedal a swan, duck, dragon or flamingo around the harbor — no licence, no lesson, no reservation needed.

Drive yourself. Silent electric boats from 14 to 21 feet, seating four to twelve, with a canopy for the sun and no licence required.
